Pax Concordia Space Station was donated by the Nthalnath government (thade peoples) after the Haxton-Nifid War. Overseen by the Tribus Alliance and physically maintained by the Nthalnath, it was retrofitted to be a meeting place on neutral ground where the galaxy's powers could gather and work out their differences peacefully. A sector of space was located that was more or less the central point between three major galactic governments forming the Tribus Alliance (Nifid Convocation, Haxton Confederation, and Ba'a Mabar). The station became a central location for business, commerce, and trading; a place where varied people came together.
A jumpgate is located nearby with the Haxton Corridor being the standard approach vector to the station. Vessels straying off the Corridor's flight path are fined or, if they enter Ba'a or Nifid territory, are subject to destruction. Freight and passenger liners share lanes, however there are small ports (AuxSats) where travelers can disembark and take a shuttle to the station itself.
The station is designated by two major components, the Barrel and the Skirt. The Barrel is comprised of the upper assembly, habitat rings and main mast. These rotate to provide artificial gravity. The skirt is stationary and surrounds the Barrel. It allows for ships to dock while also providing a layer of shielding to the main station. It contains pockets of artificial gravity.
SECTORS
The station's interior is divided in to color-coded sectors, the size and locations of which can vary depending upon purpose.
Blue Sector
Blue Sector houses the maintenance and operational control centers, docking bays, customs, embarkation, the observation dome, the cobra bays and Command and Control as well as quarters for station personnel. Access to some areas of Blue Sector is restricted to station personnel and representatives of the Founding Members of the IAPA, as well as any official guests at the Founding Members' discretion.
C&C, located in Blue Sector, is closed to all non-station personnel save for the Founders Representatives. Founder Representatives function as liaisons and are not representatives of the IAPA itself.
Red Sector
Red Sector is the largest of the station's rotating rings and serves as the station's commercial area. Businesses such as hotels, casinos, bars, restaurants, and conference areas could be found here, as can be found quarters for personnel belonging to various organizations such as the IAPA, the MSU, and the Voxti Suti. It should be noted that missions established here are quartered much like you'd find in a small, secure consulate. Medlab, Security headquarters, and the Judiciary are also located in Red Sector, as are the various interstellar peace agencies. Access to Red Sector is unrestricted. The habitat ring in Red Sector allows for parkland.

Green Sector
Green Sector, also known as the diplomatic sector, is restricted to diplomatic and command personnel. To accommodate various diplomats and other guests, medlab facilities are also available in Green Sector. The habitat ring in Green Sector allows for parkland. Visiting heads of state, monarchs, or other dignitaries are housed in this secure location if they do not currently have a mission established with the MSU, IAPA or Voxti Suti.
Brown Sector
Maintenance and life support systems & facilities, industrial/fabrication facilities, waste reclamation, atmosphere monitoring; restricted to Station personnel only.
Brown sector's atmosphere and gravitics are reflective of conditions found on Cerithades: Gravity is 15.19 m/s2 (1.55 x earth) and, by volume, dry air contains 72.09% nitrogen, 26.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.039% carbon dioxide, and small amounts of other gases. This oxygen mix is lethal to humans or to other species capable of sustaining themselves in an Earth-like environment. It is strongly recommended that all inhabitants obey signage pertaining to the use of sector transition points.
Grey Sector
Atmosphere monitoring, the alpha power station, fabrication furnaces and maintenance facilities can be found here. Grey Sector access is restricted to command, security and maintenance personnel.
Yellow Sector
Yellow Sector consists of all of the zero-gravity sections of the station. It houses and assists with zero-g cargo transfers and holds the bulk of the station's supplies. It also houses certain facilities such as the secondary fusion core, variable gravity research labs and zero-g maintenance. The station's flower-petal topped dorsal section consists of a tubular cluster of fuel tanks surrounded by flat sections which can fold in order to shield the volatile tanks.
CORRIDORS
The Central Corridors are a series of multi-level public access ways found in each zone that serve as public areas and marketplaces.
WEAPONS AND SECURITY
The station maintains its own security forces. These are mainly comprised of native Nthalnath (thade species). Some organizations, such as the IAPA, provide own security forces on board the Pax Concordia Station. These are donated by member nations and serve to protect the IAPA Headquarters, to supplement security with regard to protecting visiting dignitaries, and to occasionally respond to a station-wide emergency. IAPA security forces have very limited jurisdiction.
IAPA Security follows strict criteria, including the types of weapons used, the uniform worn, and the jurisdiction limitations. Please review Memorandum Regarding Sustaining Security Aboard the Pax Concordia for more information.
